Shirley Rector proved herself a firm favorite with Windsong Dressage students at a two day dressage clinic, Wednesday and Thursday, February 9-10, 2005.
She left the warm temperatures of Scottsdale, AZ , to teach another clinic at Windsong in an unusually wet and cold New Mexico. This time she came well prepared in her down coat usually reserved for Winter European trips.
After a whirlwind review of the basics Shirley immediately went on to teach upper level skills like piaffe and tempi changes. The clinic included a working lunch to discuss the latest rule changes from USEF.
Shirley gives so much in a lesson said Windsong owner, Ulla Hudson she teaches so clearly that I get those Ah-Ha moments not just once but several times in a session. Other students agreed that it was the personal interest shown by Shirley that helped them improve so much after her clinics.
Shirley Rector will return to Windsong in a few weeks, the date to be announced.
