The Westphalian Dressage Stallion, E-sthetics Widor, returned to the dressage show ring in New Mexico for the first time in over five years with a resounding win in Albuquerque the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13th, 2005.
The victory was especially sweet for owner Ulla Hudson who had not seen or ridden her former champion for over five years.
"My husband brought him home for me for Christmas," said owner and rider, Ulla Hudson "and as soon as I rode Widor again I knew I could get back his old sparkle."
She was obviously right because Widor won both classes at Intermediare I with a high score on the second day of 69.25.
This was only the third show for Ulla since two major back surgeries prevented her from competing for almost a year.
