Windsong Dressage has been a full-service horse facility since it opened in 1984. Located due South of Santa Fe in Santa Fe County, it is convenient for riders from New Mexico's largest metropolitan areas. One of the finest stables in the Southwest, Windsong is nestled in the idyllic foothills of South Mountain and boasts many flat, open areas ideal for boarding and training horses. Ulla Hudson, formerly Ulla Bassalleck, is the owner and full-time instructor. She is a German born and trained riding instructor with a lifetime of experience in dressage and classical methods of training. Riders of many different disciplines train at Windsong. We take our riding seriously but have fun doing it.

FROM SANTA FE
You can go through Albuquerque but a quicker more attractive route is through Cerrillos and Madrid using SR-14. Take I-25 towards Albuquerque and at exit 276, turn RIGHT onto Ramp. EXIT on to SR-599 but turn RIGHT (South) onto SR-14 (Cerrillos Rd). Go South through Madrid and Golden on SR-14 (Turquoise Trail).

In Summer: after Golden turn LEFT onto SR-344 toward San Pedro. You will go up a steep hill so this is not a good choice in the Winter. Continue on this road through San Pedro till you reach the village of Cedar Grove. There are several sharp turns but it is very scenic. As you leave the village of Cedar Grove there is a sharp turn to the left in the road and the road goes straight to Edgewood. Windsong is as you exit the village on the East (RIGHT) side of road, exactly at the village sign for Cedar Grove. If you reach the elementary school at Frost and SR-344 you have gone a mile too far South. There is a white metal gate with a keypad.

In Winter (if there is snow and ice): continue on to the junction with SR-472 (Frost Road) and SR-14. Go East on SR-306 (Frost Rd), continue on this and it becomes SR-472 ( but is still Frost Rd). Turn LEFT (North) onto SR-344. On your LEFT (East) at the 4 way junction is an elementary school. Windsong is about a mile North of this. The property is on the East (LEFT) side of the road, exactly at the village sign for Cedar Grove. There is a white metal gate with a keypad.
