WINDSONG DRESSAGE CENTER RIDERS AND STUDENTS HAVE MAJOR SUCCESS
Albuquerque, East Mountains, NM, Monday, October 15, 2007-- Windsong Dressage Center riders and students had major success at the recent Harvest Fling Dressage Show of the New Mexico Dressage Association held at the New Mexico Expo on Saturday & Sunday, October 6-7, 2007.
"I was so proud of all my students who worked so hard over the last few weeks," said Ulla Hudson, Trainer at Windsong Dressage Center, "This was the last show of the year in Albuquerque and we are all looking forward to training hard over the Winter for the Spring shows in 2008."
In alphabetical order the results were:
Kelly Baumgart won First Place at Training level one with 62.174 and Second Place in Training level two with 64.643.
Beth German received Fifth Place with 56.957 at training level test 1.
The highest score in the show went to Randi Phillips with a First Place win of 67.50 in Intro Test B
Jean Podborny won 2 First Places with scores of 63.4 and 61.8 both in 1st level Test 4.
Kirsten Romney won 3 First Places and one 2nd place at Training Level: with scores of 61.739, 63.6, 65.375, and 62.8
Ulla Hudson won First Place on two occasions in Grand Prix Open with scores of 60.625 and 59.583. She also rode Beth German's horse STARFIRE AREND to a First Place win at training level test 4 with 66.00.
Ulla Hudson holds Germany’s top qualification for equestrian trainers, the Trainer A of the German FN (Reitlehrer, FN) in both show-jumping and dressage with FEI extension in dressage. She is the only trainer in New Mexico, and one of only a handful outside Germany, with this advanced qualification. She holds the German FN Silver Performance Medal and the Silver and Bronze Medals of the United States Dressage Federation. She teaches at Windsong Dressage Center, an 80 acre full-service horse facility in the East Mountains of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Windsong opened in 1984 and is located South of Santa Fe and East of Albuquerque. Riders from many different disciplines, and all levels, train at Windsong.
