- Santa Fe's home for dressage instruction, boarding and sales is Windsong Dressage and Equestrian Center in South Santa Fe County. Windsong has been a full-service horse facility in the East Mountains, since it opened in 1984. Located South of Santa Fe and East of Albuquerque, it is convenient for riders from New Mexico's largest metropolitan areas. One of the finest stables in the Southwest, Windsong is nestled in the idyllic foothills of South Mountain in Santa Fe county and boasts many flat, open areas ideal for boarding and training horses. Ulla Hudson, formerly Ulla Bassalleck, is the owner and full-time instructor. She is a German born and trained riding instructor with a lifetime of experience in dressage and classical methods of training. Riders of many different disciplines train at Windsong. We take our riding seriously but have fun doing it.
